Our Initiatives

The growing network of CMFN churches in Calgary came together in 2008 to form the Re.verse Conference with Dr. Chap Clark, Mark Holmen and Sid Koop as the plenary speakers.  The conference  focused on equipping families to build authentic Christ-centered relationships in the home and was very well received. This was a large undertaking for the new network, and, while conferences can be helpful the continuing focus of Calgary’s network will be to serve each other in the establishment of ongoing effective marriage & family ministries in each congregation.
Moving Forward
As funding increases so will CMFN’s impact beyond Calgary.  CMFN will rely on the donations of individuals and foundations who share its vision and believe in its purpose to “inspire and equip churches in Canada to transform marriages and families one congregation at a time”.

Saskatoon Network launching November 19 & 20, 2010

Greg McCombs is presently developing a network of churches in Saskatoon bringing pastors together  to discuss the great potential of impacting the marriages of that city through collaboration.  Using a coaching model with 10-12 churches,  CMFN will launch this local network on November 19 & 20 bringing training in the areas of marriage mentoring, weekend workshops and enrichment seminars.  This coaching will help network churches develop a sustainable system of transforming the marriages within their church and the communities they serve.  The training has woven throughout it the centrality of Christ in every marriage reflecting a Faith@Home focus in every household.

Keynotes and Seminars Available

Greg is also available to bring keynotes as well as two 90 minute seminars discussing the “What” and the “How” of the Faith@Home movement and what it’s going to take for the church to partner more effectively with the home to pass on a living faith to the next generation.  To book Greg as speaker for your church or event please contact Angela at angela@cmfn.ca or by calling 403.891.3530.
